June 25, 2019 / By Jeremiel
Question: I have a couple of questions that i really need help with. It deals with U.S History. 1. Why does the U.S government limit the entrance to some foreigners and allow others? 2. How do immigration policies affect U.S's society? 3. How did the u.s policies change over time? 4.What are the visa requirements? 5. Who can migrate to the U.S? 6. What are the immigration policies under the British empire? 7. How do immigration policies affect women? 8. How do people react to the different groups of immigrants. 9. What are the problems the policies face today? Please help!!! Yes it is homework...No i don't have a text book.... if ur not willing to help please dont respond... thank you. i just got transfered to that class for ur information so therefore i dont have a text book... u have a degree so ur like how old... like really... if u have such a degree why u wasting time arguing ur point... if ur not going to answer the dam question dont answer... and i dont need 1800000000 pages' i'm in 10th grade... i just need help to answer the question...I never asked u to give me the answer either atleast a point in the right direction would have help instead of your nasty *** comments. *edit* yea 25 years old and ur wilding out over a question... grown *** adult... like if ur not gonnah answer the question just dont say anything...Period. point blank. Like r u looking for attention? cause all u said since, is un-needed information... you having a degree has nothing to do with me nor can it help me.. it has no significance to my life.... and there is a reason why it's called yahoo-answers.. its suppose get answers to questions that you dont know or have difficulty answer... it's not to tell everyone about ur degree... like this could have saved you and i about..how many minutes of our lives?... and guess what? guess what? we'll never get those minutes back! all because one person wanted to input insignificant information... like all i'm saying is that if u dont know the answer to the question, or dont want to answer or you have some problem with me asking about homework, then just dont say anything......anything at all. fyi.. i've been finding info about this for like 8 days...so if i after a week and a half decide that i still need help, why should that be a problem. Its not like i'm asking yah for the answer and it's not like i sat on my *** and did nothing and want a free ticket... and as for that other guy... this is not law school.... it's high school... and i'm not trying to be an attorney or all that extra-ness so cut the 1800 page bullshit. and no offense but i also dont need ur ancestral background either.

Sounds like homework questions... how about you read your textbook and learn. Edit: I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy, as well as a J.D.-- I have NEVER been to a class were a textbook or assigned reading wasn't required. Your excuse is rubbish. *Edit* -Most people finish their Bachelor's degree in four years of leaving High School, a J.D. takes a further 3 years. So that would put me at a minimum of 25 years old + some work experience-- which really isn't all that "old" in the grand scheme of things. -Secondly, there is no argument nor debate, I simply suggested that you figure out the answers for yourself and learn what is trying to be taught to you.

You are looking at about a 60-page paper to answer those questions in a meaningful way. Good luck with that. Basically, you'd have to go through about 1800 pages of immigration law and a few hundred pages of case law to even grasp what it is you are asking here.

You might want to use INFOPASS to make an appointment at the field office and talk to an information officer. You can also check status of your application online. You may also want to consult with an immigration lawyer.
