Computer Maintenance Job?

Computer Maintenance Job? Topic: Information computer technology homework
June 17, 2019 / By Bastian
Question: I'm taking a class on computer maintenance in highschool, and we have to do these portfolios where we make a fake job resume and other stuff, so the first thing I need to do is find a real job on the internet, but I don't know what kind to look for that I would need to use computer maintenance skills in. Suggestions please. First poster: Like I said, this is for homework not real life.

Most often those jobs are classified under Computer IT (Information Technology) http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=na... or Computer Repair/Support http://www.indeed.com/q-Computer-Repair-... http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=na... http://jobview.monster.com/GetJob.aspx?JobID=85960728&WT.mc_n=jobscomview http://www.ehow.com/about_4700046_pc-repair-jobs.html or PC Technician http://www.indeed.com/q-PC-Technician-jobs.html You'll probably have to sign up for a job service of some kind to get other actual listings that you can use, or at least put in some search parameters in some of the sites to find them. You can try places like Monster.com. Best of luck.

you did put on new thermal paste right??? without it the heatsink is useless, take it back off, apply a fat rice grain size of paste to the center of the heatsink and refasten it to the board. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN as it will warp the board and cause spaces between the HS and the CPU... also running for a while with no cooling what so ever probably fried your CPU...

I'm a little worried about the heat sink falling off As we know, those heat sink are held on the motherboard by some bracket or push pins If it fell off, did any of the supporting pins got forced out of the motherboard holes? It may have cracked the motherboard First thing to do is a close visual inspection of your motherboard and ensure that there is no crack, and also that the processor socket is intact. if that doesnt help, you may have to swap the CPU with another, to test and see if your CPU is dead
