Do you like my last day of school poem?

Do you like my last day of school poem? Topic: New school writing courses

Question: I wrote a poem for the last day of school. Tell me if you think its good or not and tell me what I should fix. School is over. It is done. Now it’s time to have some fun. Of course we'll miss our friends a lot But look at the vacation we've got! In September we’ll go back again. Oh, what a big huge pain, So enjoy summer while you can Go to camp, get a tan But be prepared to come back soon Vacation started on the 24th of June. Love the summer, dread the fall You'll be glad you had any break at all. thanks in advance :)

Made me smile. You won't believe this, maybe, but I miss school sometimes. Probably just nostalgia but the friends and learning new stuff all the time isn't half bad. Summer is, of course awesome. Treasure all your days, dear heart.

Kinda rough, and it seems like you've just stamped words on. Maybe a few descriptive words, and organize your words better. For example "But be prepared to come back soon// Vacation started on the 24th of June." The couplets should have something to do with each other. Although the rhymes seem to relate to each other and wasn't forced upon each other. Hope this helped. ^^

it's okay..how coincidental I wrote one too..awhile back of course since we got out weeks ago. light hits my eyes They don’t approve Sitting, waiting anxiously For the clock to move The bell rings What signified all year the passing of a class Now signifies freedom and fresh cut grass Like a prisoner set free from jail My mind is lifted of restraints The canvas is once again blank I’ll color it with any chosen paints Now I own my clock To pursue passions, I’ll flock These under eye bags will disappear From lectures I won’t have to hear Living life intensely I’ll know I’ll enjoy summer immensely eh the ends kinda crappy but ya...

Wonderful... However pain and again are close rhymes. If you don't want it to be like this try: "In September we’ll go back. And we'll have to lose our slack"

It's a public school district. If you live within the district, they are required to accept you (unless you have been expelled from school for some reason). But you'll have to meet their requirements for high school graduation, so you may have to go to school longer. Talk to your high school guidance counselor once you are admitted to your local high school (your parents will have to go to the school to get you admitted and to arrange to have your transcripts transferred from Alahambra). The sooner you are admitted, the better.
