That sounds like an unfortunate situation for you. I hope you are able to continue your schooling now that you are old enough to make that decision on your own. For experience try putting any volunteer experience you have. Have you done anything in an official capacity to help others? Worked in a soup kitchen? Volunteered at the library? Rang bells at Christmastime for the Salvation Army? This website has a page devoted to helping people write the experience section of their resume if they haven't had much work experience before. It might help you. Check it out: http://www.your-best-resume.com/create-a-resume-experience.html

Volunteer Experience is probably the only thing you will be able to add and you may have to get creative with how you word it to make yourself look more employable. Chances are though, if you are only 19 the position is not one that will require too many skills/experiences and having a brief resume with just volunteer experience, a well written career objective and additional skills section may be sufficient. I found a blog post from a career website all about writing resumes with now work experience: http://resumecompanion.com/resume/blog/p... best of luck, keep working hard

I assist people in creating resumes at a very competitive price. If you are interested, you can email [email protected] I am a Senior Human Resources Specialist. My biggest piece of advice, and I don't mean this to be offensive...you had a lot of spelling mistakes in your posting, so make sure you get someone to proofread your resume and cover letter. Spelling mistakes signal to employers that you either have poor communication skills or you lack attention to detail. Good luck!

Below are two great resources for resume writing. The Microsoft link is a template for a basic resume. The other is simply explanations of what you should write where.

Have you ever heard of constructive criticism? Please don't get upset, but here it is. I know that asking a question on this site is not the same as writing a resume, and I am assuming that you really do know how to spell and punctuate correctly. If not, you had better brush up on those two points, because if you submit a resume with the spelling and punctuation mistakes you made in your question, it would get thrown out, especially as you are applying for a secretary. Having said that, if you are still reading this, there are many excellent websites that help you write a resume for free. Good Luck with your job search!
