Put the nail file into your check in luggage, as well as the mirror if it is made of metal. (all metal things will show up on the X-ray and will cause delays.) Great idea to take along the baby wipes, (air flight is dehydrating) just make sure that your contacts are in a plastic baggie (ziploc) to prevent the solution from leaking. Anything of liquid nature should be no more than 1 fl ounce, and in a ziploc, and no aerosols whether in your checked in luggage or your carry one. Enjoy your flight

I have traveled on a lot of airlines, and almost always take a standard carry on size suitcase that goes in the overhead bin, AND a medium size backpack that will fit under the seat in front of me. No airline has EVER objected to those two items. The BA website seems quite clear to me: - - - - - - - - - - - - Size and weight of your hand baggage 1 x cabin bag 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22in x 18in x 10in) including handles, pockets and wheels. 1 x personal bag 45cm x 36cm x 20cm (18in x 14in x 8in) including handles, pockets and wheels. Maximum weight per bag is up to 23kg (51lbs). You must be able to fit your bags into the baggage gauge at check in. - - - - - - - - - - - - As long as your pack is within the size limits for your "personal bag", you will not have any problem.

you should be fine! i brought similar items when i traveled to Mexico last month. security gave me no problems! If you want to double check, go to this link: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p... it gives you info on any prohibited items. Have a nice trip! :)

No, that would be too large, you could bring a purse about the size of a briefcase, commuter bag, diaper bag, computer case, small backpack but not a second bag the same size limit of a carry on bag. The second item must be able to fit under the seat in front of you, a regular carry-on bag won't fit there. You should put your razor in your carry-on bag. If those two items are all you want to bring keep in my you can bring a coat or raincoat and put a few items in the pockets, wear a scarf around your neck if you will bring one, carry an umbrella and a book or magazine, wear a hat. That may be a consideration if your carry-on and purse are loaded to the max, but will require some toting around.

As the first answer said - you may not take two bags that are the size of a standard carry on bag. When you sort out what to take, put your razor in either one - it does not matter. Standard safety razors <> permitted in bags that you take onto the plane, so it makes no difference
