I want to change the color of my bathroom cabinets, but I need help with my color scheme?

I painted my bathroom black a few months ago and I really like the color, but now I want to change the color of my cabinets. Right now my cabinets are a oak color and the counter is white. I'm afraid that if i change the cabinets to white it will be too much white. Oh yeah the floor is white also. When I decided on the black paint I had in mind of doing a black, white and silver color scheme BUT it's not working as I had planned. :-(

I think this peach color works: http://pinterest.com/pin/265993921711590...
Or maybe a mint green or yellow. You have a pretty large range of options when it comes to black and white!

The black wall choice sounds interesting.
I'm a painter and like doing different looks for my clients. Never thought about using black for bath walls, good for you.
Anyway, I don't think you can get "too" much white in a black painted room. The cabinets could look nice in white even against the white floor.
You could always go with some shade of a deep charcoal gray for the cabinets. The charcola would look great against the black wall and go well with the white floor.
You could bring silver accents into the room with the fixtures, door knobs, picture frames, etc.
Then to add a small hit of color, put a silver vase with a flower or two in a bright color.

There's no harm in putting white cabinets as long as you accessorize with some other colors. For instance, you can put up wall stickers in black, silver, or white. Your towel can be a grayish-silver color. Those are just a few examples. A spark of red in the room would also look cute. I think it would be cute if you include white cabinets but it can be tricky so remember to accessorize, accessorize, and accessorize!!

You could paint a silvery gray shade or a light icy aqua or blue.
With the black and white, you have tons of options. Sometimes finding a piece of art that works in the room can inspire you.
With this you could use hot pink:
Any of these background colors:
I'm not a fan of the black/white/ red combo, but it would work?
I like black and white with aqua most:
I also like celery or lime green:
If you are using a shower curtain, find that first.

the idea is genetics, heredity IS controlled in some unknown way by a chemical in cells called DNA. we are only just beginning to understand
I expect there are many complicated interacting chemicals or genes that produce any one effect
it is not as simple as a "paint by number" code on a reprinted picture
it is more like a big book of instructions, how to mix paint, how to make color, how to use a paint brush, how much to use at any time, what works well together etc. we are not sure how those instructions are put in sequence
if you can find TED TALKS on the net look for the one about who a human develops from tiny cells from the mother and father until after it is born. ( I assume you are over 12 and can begin to understand this)
