The Diversity Lottery does not require a letter. It has an official form, as linked in the other answer. Are you applying through the one and only official website, www.dvlottery.state.gov ? All other websites are scams. You can verify your application status through the website and NO money is required unless you win.

A Study permit may or may not be issued. DO NOT PLAN your travel for a specific date until you have your study visa. It will be at your cost any changes you need to make to your travel reservations. Contact your transportation source for the booking method for a variable departure date. There will be a cost to rebook for some other date. GOING to CHEAP DISCOUNT LOW COST SITE does not allow changes to your date of departure at NO COST. Trying to depart EARLY to Canada can result in your being refused at the Arrival port and going back where you came from. You then have to pay again for your transportation. You travel AFTER you get the visa.Be prepared and contact your school for procedures you need to do before start of classes. Some of that you can do now. In extreme cases your visa may not be issued until after classes start. Contact your school about a late start. It may result in your seat being cancelled and you wait until the next class starts. As noted by @Steven the AVERAGE time is 10-13 weeks. The time for yours is unknown. Applying is no GUARANTEE you get one and there is no set time for processing your application. Officials are well aware of the start date for your classes and WILL NOT rush your application. It takes as long as it takes to process YOUR application. They are not done to some time line. Each one is done individually for its unique combination of things that need to be verified.

he people you should be talking to are Citizenship and Immigration Canada. They are the only people who can authorize your visa/permit and they are the only ones that can answer your questions about why the approval has not arrived. You should have a case number in the original email if you sent your application to the official government service. You call the CIC offices, give them the case number, and ask them to see if there is a problem or if the process is still ongoing. Keep in mind that when you apply for a temporary resident visa and study permit, these will be processed based on the visa office that you sent your paperwork to. So if you are in USA and you sent the application in through one of their offices, you probably are looking at between 10-13 weeks wait time to have that processed, depending on if you applied through the Canadian visa office in L.A. or the one in New York. So if you sent in your application OCT-10, then it could be mid-December before you hear back about any approval. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information...

Lens7, hold on sport, I take it you have been accepted by a university. You mention that your a US Permanent Resident, you have not mentioned anywhere in your post if your a US Citizen. If you not a US Citizen, what is your actual nationality?

Many states have moved to the use of formulas based on income. When your income changes, you would go back to the Court. You could ask for an agreement that specifies the amount to be paid from your income if it varies monthly without going to Court each time your income changes, but keep in mind that no agreement that is contrary to your daughter's interests will ever be legally binding (I mean that no agreement that will give her less than she is enitled to under the formula can be binding). The overseas employment shouldn't matter. You need to check with your lawyer or another lawyer to explain the Georgia formula to you, so you understand this baseline and make sure that they aren't adding something into your income incorrectly. The law defines what is income. Any order can be reopened if the formula wasn't applied correctly, but it would surprise me if the Judge, your attorney and your ex's attorney all made a mistake. You can find other divorce or family law experts in your area of Georgia on Martindale.com, doing a search of all lawyers by location and specialty.

Each state follows a child support guideline..you can always appeal but until an order is changed you have to pay the 1230. The judge would not have made the order unless he had proof of what your income was or if you did not attend or ( have representation) at the child support hearing.
