I Googled: "ptsd; vietnam vets; u.s.a." getting multiple hits. Contacting the national bodies seems like a good place to start.

Assuming you recommend the Vietnam warfare in terms people involvement (the U. S. 'Vietnam warfare') 2 motives.......... a million.) The Soviet coverage of exploiting community situations to unfold Soviet communism and Soviet administration. 2.) US President Lyndon Johnson. As to #a million the Soviets 'did' have a coverage brazenly reported via them and put in prepare of exploiting community situations as they'd to unfold Soviet protection stress administration and Soviet rule. They have been doing so interior the situations of Vietnam yet that would desire to no longer have been adequate for the U. S. to leap in, in a super dedication and escalation to complete blown warfare. the two US President republican Eisenhower (an ex magnificent well-known) interior the 1950's and democrat US President Kennedy (1961-sixty 4) had refused to get in touch in warfare in Vietnam based on the maxim....'the U. S. shouldn't in any respect get in touch in a land warfare in mainland Asia'....it is known that the populations and terrain of mainland Asia are basically too massive and the terrain too diverse and lots from the U. S. for the U. S. to have a competent possibility of triumphing a land warfare there. As to #2. US President Johnson grew to become right into a huge loud guy, complete of optimism, used to 'under no circumstances taking 'no' for an answer' and getting his way. He grew to become into far greater than useful in US technologies and US protection stress ability. He threw the maxim approximately land warfare in Asia out the window or perhaps with warnings listened to his Generals who promised they'd do something, reversed the two Eisenhower and Kennedy and jumped the U. S. into the Vietnam hornets nest. in comparison to Korea next to Japan which grew to become into considered necessary for the U. S. to maintain on the Western part interior the chilly warfare. in comparison to Berlin/ East Germany next to West Germany which the U. S. had to maintain interior the chilly warfare, South Vietnam grew to become into next to no longer something and the U. S. had 0 chilly warfare pastime in retaining that's jungle coated mountains and rice paddies on the U. S./ Western part. even with the actuality that the two Eisenhower and Kennedy have been given this distinction because of the fact of Johnson's character/ over self belief it grew to become into lost on him.
