I am determined to find the alternate ending to Halo reach.? Topic: How to end a conclusion about yourself

Question: I have come to the conclusion that there is an alternate ending to Halo Reach, First of all every Halo game made by bungie has had one. Second this is the last Halo game made by Bungie so I refuse to believe that they "ran out of time" or " forgot to write it in the code" this is there Swan Song they wouldn't forget. Third, I watched an interview with Bungie employees and they confirmed there would be a Alternate ending. This game is packed full of easter eggs, hidden references, special Elites, (bobs) everything Bungie has become famous for. I am not saying that the ending itself is bad. I loved the entire game. Im just saying there is something more. I have recruited a couple friends to go through and explore the game. I just need a little help. I am trying to compile as much info as I can. If anybody has any information, about the special elites, or Bobs as they are called. How many are there? Where are they located? Are they always gold? Is there a certain difficulty you have to be playing on? Please be specific if possible. Also, how many hidden switches or levers are there? Where are they located. Then there are the data pads...I am aware of a lot of these BOBS, levers, data pads, I just don't know if I know them all. I know this is a lot to ask, but I will post any results I find, if you you guys want to leave your gamer tag. I also welcome any theories! I would love to here about your guys Ideas. Thanks guys, I know I can count on the gaming community, especially the Halo community! I know Im going to get some stupid immature answers from Halo haters or just Idiots. But I am looking forward to the people that really enjoy the Halo world!

I have completed Reach on all difficulty settings (just to be sure) and alas no alternate ending...I have (and i bet the majority of all halo fans) have been searching for the so far illusive alternate ending...I have collected all data pads and completed the game on legendary solo and no difference....here is an article i found at planethalo that could be useful.... oh yeah btw I am also going through the game looking for all the BOBS, apparently there is 1 in each level and yes what I can tell they are all Golden....also Bungies obession with the number 7 may come into this....or possibly with the final...post credits level....how about surviving 7 hours?...lmao anyway here is an article I found: [ARTICLE FROM HALOREACHPLANET] We began our play through in the same manner as our other tests: new profile, start from very beginning sequence, Legendary difficulty, and completed in one sitting. This time, we found all 18 data pads during the play through. Yet, we saw no difference in Halo: Reach’s Legendary Ending. So what do the data pads do? As far as we can tell, the data pads don’t unlock any new armor, maps, gameplay modes, etc. It would seem that as the game is now, the data pads won’t unlock anything. It’s strange though—in Halo 3, and Halo 3: ODST, there were visual cues to the hidden objects you found. Within some menu, you were able to see the number of skulls or audio logs currently found, yet in Halo: Reach, there is no such indicator. Maybe this is intentional, but it feels absent to us. It is possible that the Bungie challenges will somehow be connected to these data pads? …but wait! Golden Elites? We appreciate all the speculation about finding and taking down the Golden Elites in order to unlock an alternate ending. We’re working on finding them all right now! Here’s the thing: The fact that they haven’t all been found yet—there is no way of knowing what they’ll do (or if they do anything!) All we’re saying is that all speculation right now is merely guess work. No one really knows if these objects have any effect on the outcome of the game. We have found some additional golden elites however, and believe there may be at least one on every mission. [END OF ARTICLE] The best thing to do is keep hammering those challenges (i cant at the moment my xbox is in bloody Frankfurt being repaired!!) :'( Keep your eyes here :- http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?... and the other forum topics. Keep the faith...

The credits, rank, videos, images, and purchased items from the Armory will all be deleted May 20th. You can not save anything from the Beta. Spend your credits while you have them! Render all videos you want to save and put them on your hard drive. Save all the pictures you want to your hard drive as well. Saved films and ss from the Beta will not be compatible with the full retail launch of the game.

All of your Halo: Reach items (Armour, rank, credits, videos) will all be deleted come the end of the beta. Everybody will be starting fresh as launch. You can save your videos to your hard drive though.

There's no word about what armor is going to be there when it launches, and the armor in the beta is just a taste of what you can use in the actual game and what you can expect to see.

Debi Originally Answered: Quick question over grammar: which is the correct title; Under a Halo, or Under an Halo?
Any word that starts with a vowel needs "an" before it. If it starts with a consenant then it needs "a" before it. If, say, an author wrote "an historic moment" in his book, then he would be incorrect.

Actually, the answer has its roots in the history of the language. We get our word "history" from the French "histoire," in which the h is silent. The results are mixed: "a history book," but "an historic moment." Though most American speakers don't keep the "historic" h silent, they certainly pronounce it with much less force than the h in "history." England has many accents in which initial h's are silent or barely breathes, as in "hello"; since American English came from England, the habit persisted. "Halo," on the other hand (hear the h here?) has its h pronounced as strongly as in "history," so "a halo" is correct. By the way, we have other words with silent initial h's. Perhaps the best-known example is "herb," in which the h is silent to eliminate confusion with a man's name, thus "basil is an herb."

Use a if the following word is pronounced with a consonant at the beginning. Use an if the following word is pronounced with a vowel. The grammatically correct way is "a historic moment" because "historic" is pronounced with an h, which is a consonant. In conversations, some people don't pronounce the h and talk as if they are saying "an istoric moment". Istoric is pronounced with a vowel, i, so they use an.
