Topic: How to find good sources for research papers
July 16, 2019 / By Erin Question:
I am a High School Sophemore, and I am currently doing a project in World LIt + Comp that could either make, or break my graduation to the next class level. It is a research paper, and it is supposedly worth "400 Points", which translates to four letter grades worth of grade value. Mainly, the project is about how to do research, and choosing topics that you are interested in, to do research about. We did the first part as a class, and we had to list ten things we were curious about, and wanted learn more about, then we narrowed it down to our top three subjects, finally, we organized which ones we liked the most to the ones we liked the least from first to last. My Three topics were "Psychology", "TV Culture", and "Cultures of Africa". I took interest in "Cultures of Africa", becuase I am biracial, and want to learn more about my roots. The perequisites however, are a bit strict. We have to find atleast three-four articles about the topic, use only two websites for sources of information, and using only two books. If your topic cannot be researched with all of these guidelines, then another topic must be chosen. Do you know any good sources of information that might be able to help? Remember, my graduation depends on this grade! Thank You.
.Every 100 Points translates to one letter grade
."TV Cultures" is my study on how Television has effected our society, and how much we value it.
.Anything you could suggest would help ( The Exception of course being "wikipedia")
