"Italy" mean the name of the country. "Italian" Mean the language. There are many websites for Italian, as with any popular language. Start with livemocha.com, and italian.about.com BBClanguages has a nice little course. Busuu.com is good. languages.online.uk is good, too. Lots of cool games to play. Teaching yourself a language can be a daunting task unless you know how you learn. Good luck to you. Buona Fortuna.

Many public libraries have a program called Mango that is similar to the Rosetta Stone program you see advertised on TV. It's also very good -- and free. Check your library's website.

As Lizzie said, japanese.about.com is really good. I've been using it for a while now. Also, sharedtalk.com is a great way to practice your Japanese with other people learning the language. Good luck!

Meed Originally Answered: Name some sites to download books online for free?
They're not available for free because the authors expect to be paid for their hard work. You know, the same way you'd expect to be paid at your job. If you love reading then why are you trying to steal books? Authors have to pay the bills, same as everyone else, and if their books continue to be stolen they can't afford to write them any more. Trying to download these books for free is stealing, pure and simple. It is exactly the same as walking into a bookshop and swiping books off the shelf, or going to the author's house and just taking the money out of their pocket. If you want to read these books then buy them or see if they're available in a library. You do not have the right to steal them.

That is illegal. If you want to read books for free, start with your local library. most loan ebooks as well as physical ones. And if they don't have a title that you want, they may be able to get it for you through inter-library loan. You can also buy new or used copies of the books.
