What to put on the table for a wedding if the food is a buffet? Topic: What is the problem solving plan

Question: Planning a wedding... and was wondering how you would set a table, if the food for the wedding was a buffet... normally at a buffet, the plates are next to the food... if that's the case, won't the tables look empty? what would we set there? thanks!

99.9% of the weddings I attend are buffets. What to do? Have some nice centerpieces and then leave it at that. The glasses/napkins, obviously, will be set on the table already. Once people get their plates...problem solved! It doesn't look bare at all....and, as a matter of fact, looks very elegant when you first walk in!

Grill cook.. The person who makes assembles is a line cook; the rest are called customer service representatives.. A grill cook should also know how to proper clean all the equipment that they work on so be careful putting it on a professional resume.

I'm also having a buffet, but because I'm not having big centerpieces I'm going to set the table anyway and they can take their salad and dinner plate to the buffet table.

You can decorate your table nicely w/ plastic rose petals or fake crystals. you can also use candles to give it a nice glow but( be careful were you place them). You could put plates on one end and utensils on the other this will help the table look fuller. Also try serving th food on diff. height serving dishes (have some tall some short and some medium) this will make it look like more food is on the table.

I agree, it won't look empty. Just put the silverware and the napkins so people only need to go get their plates. Also the glasses, water glasses and champagne flutes for the toast, so it will really look quite full. Plus with the centerpiece you will be all set! Good luck!

You could set your favors at each place setting. You could also place the name cards there, if you are using them. Put your favors in a decorative box or envelope, etc. Use creative holders for the place cards. Also you could use centerpieces that spread out, instead of just going straight up. I don't know what your colors or theme is but here are some ideas to get you started. http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/2561887433/ http://www.creativeweddingfavors.com/images/star-placecard-holders.jpg http://images.marthastewartweddings.com/images/content/pub/weddings/2005Q4/a101097_win05_graphicfavor_m.jpg http://www.flickr.com/photos/matildabutkas/2744854990/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/atbarrett/3263964452/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jasondargavell/3687752869/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jasondargavell/3687752863/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/atbarrett/3263964452/

You're overthinking it. No the tables won't look empty. If you put anything there besides food and utensils, it will look really weird.

if you are worried about the tables looking empty you can add tea light holders or something a little extra to the centrepiece's.

Yes it does. GMO are crops that have been gene spliced meaning they take a piece of foreign DNA (can be from another kingdom, even) and shoot it into the cell's DNA and hope that it attaches and than expresses the right traits like glysophate resistance Common GMO's include soy, corn, cotton and canola but there are many others. pretty much 100% of all not certified Organic processed foods contain GMO's and all meat we eat that is not raised on an Organic farm or pastured raised/grass fed has been fed GMO rains
