Question: It's uncanny. They even mentioned the wars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHD0ZdhtmSQ The Who Won't Get Fooled Again Lyrics We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the four-minute song And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again No, no! I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky For I know that the hypnotized never lie Do ya? Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! There's nothing in the street Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And the parting on the left Is now the parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Meet the new boss Same as the old boss And WHICH party got us mired in Vietnam? Which party got us out again, at a terrible cost? Or will liberals say Dem and Rep have switched places since then... their favorite cop-out.

No, it was a call for liberals to fight the Vietnam War. We all got fooled many times after that, a continuous blinding of the masses.

That would be great if it were true. But we keep falling for the same old crap and we keep voting in people that make things worse instead of better. Then we'll wake up one morning and the Muslims will be marching in the streets and our military will be forbidden to step in and stop them.

no, the song was written in 1971, an "antiwar anthem" that "conveyed a sense of betrayal by the nation's leaders, who had led our country into a costly and unnecessary war in Vietnam."

What style? Rock, country, etc.? Need a refrain. Country seems to have more words, and tell a story. Here is a wordy, cool tune, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VS0CV_GWE...
