Question: Here is the essay. i will continue it with additonal details. The Medicine man is one upon various movies that should make us concerned with our environment. The things occurring to our environment are something that should concern us in a variety of aspects, one of them displayed in the Medicine Man. In reality (and as shown in the movie), plants and other various natural resources are capable of helping a high amount of today’s population for things as simple as fighting a cold, or as difficult as treating an HIV+ patient. This is what most people are not aware of, that an enormous amount of medicine used for all sorts of things comes from various plants, both common and rare. This is a concern, due to the fact that the amounts of pollution produced by various common apparatuses used in the average society has a high influence in the loss of vegetation and beautiful rainforests all over the world, which can have a great effect in various proportions, such as the economical... ...of a country, and the chance of success it can have when it comes to the possibility of striking a trade deficit with it’s surrounding nations. The issue at hand is very critical. With the loss of all this vegetation, remedies to critical medical conditions can vanish. Deforestation can occur for several reasons. The examples given in “The Medicine Man” are forest fires, and human interaction, one of many causes of the loss of forests and vegetation in urban, or rural areas. Some of the hazards are very difficult to prevent, such as forest fires. Others, such as the use of valuable trees to make desks, paper, and other resources used by most people today, can easily be stopped. There are always alternate resources that can perform the same tasks as wood can. We have technology to mass-produce various types of materials that can replace the use of wood to improve the environment. If forests aren’t demolished, the plants that are important for the creation of medicine have a... higher chance of survival, so it’s best to avoid the use of wood. Though it would be good, there are also disadvantages to this plan. With production of wood gone, a lot of countries would enter something similar to “the great depression”. Some countries rely on wood as a resource to fuel their economy. If this resource became invaluable, some of many countries would have nothing to produce money, and eventually lose all economical income. Another inconvenience with using this plan would be the extinction of other resources. At this point, wood is more abundant than various other resources that can replace it, so it might not be a better idea to follow the plan listed above. Wood is a renewing source, while other resources used today, such as oil, will not be easily produced, and are likely to vanish soon. With all things considered, it’s a hard choice to decide which is best for the world, but it is apparent that changing this can bring a lot of difficulties, and few advantages.. The main topic at hand is saving trees, and all the vegetation that can be beneficial, and there’s a good possibility that some of the plants we need will die out, no matter what is done to prevent it. Some things in the environment are impossible to control. Which choice is the best? It’s hard to tell. Making a choice of such magnitude can have very unpredictable outcomes, so in my opinion, it is best to leave things as they are. If things continue to get worse and, or a critical state is reached, immediate action should be taken. Until then, it’s hard to say what’s best to be done. I know it's a lot to look over, but I would appreciate it if someone could help me with the major errors. if anything, please tell me what you think ion regards to the quality, compared to the average work of a 9th grade student. THANKS! MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE!

There is an awful lot of rambling. There aren't too many errors, but is reality it doesn't say much. I seriously would think about starting from scratch and restating everything to make if flow and become understandable.pp

This essay is really interesting, right from the beginning. It could use a bit of editing, though, mostly to make the phrasing more like what native English speakers would say. "I was born on October 5, 1985. I was the second child. I also have a younger brother. All of us are boys." . . . "We had this rickety house that swayed from side to side whenever the wind blew, because of its weak support pillars and poorly-designed, non-concrete foundation." . . . "The compound was full of generous, kind people. Actually they were our relatives." . . . "I have so many vivid and intact childhood memories, that I couldn't possibly write them all in one paper." – To tell the truth, I thought your original paper was great. It has a lot more flavor. Too bad you have to formalize it for English class.

A Life to Live I was born on October 5, 1985 when my mother gave birth to me as a second child. I also have a younger brother; all of us are three boys. I can recall back in the day where life was so simple- yet full of joy in the family. We had this non-sturdy house and every time a strong wind blew across, it would sway side by side, because of its weak pillars attached on its foundation. It lies on the non-concrete ground- poorly designed. The house was surrounded by different kinds of trees. The compound was populated by a neighborhood where generous and kind people resided; in fact, they were our relatives. We would gather at times- mostly every weekend - and spend time altogether. All my childhood memories are still vivid and intact , but I couldn't write them all in a paper.

I managed to get through the first two sentences before I gave it up. The first sentence makes absolutely no sense at all. What in the world were you trying to say? The second sentence almost tells us something, then it gives up trying. That's when i gave up trying, too. So, are you trying to impart information, or are you trying to use as many words as you can, regardless of what they mean?

1. I'm not ambitious enough to do something like that. 2. You're not ambitious enough to do whatever it takes to be successful. 3. Perfect. "He’s a self-confident man who doesn’t need validation from a woman in his life" means that he doesn't need a girlfriend or wife to show that he's successful in life nor does he need their kind words to feel good. It's enough for him that he likes himself. (It's not ruling out the possibility that he desires a woman, it's just saying he doesn't *need* one.) "You're not very imaginative if you can't think of a sentence like this one!" :P "Your homework was extremely imaginative John, how did you think of your story?" "The artist was very successful because of the imaginative way he used colour" "My brother isn't very imaginative, he got me a hairbrush for my birthday."

Im not ambitious enough to do a thing like that You're not ambitious enough to do what it takes to be successful. The last one is fine :) Um.. For your history assignment, try to be as creative and imaginative as you can, for full marks. Sara is very imaginative;she made a painting from old newspapers. Hope this helps :)
