How do I wake up in the morning without falling back to sleep? Topic: Makeup case set

Question: I set my alarm 5 times in the morning: 4,5,6,6:30,and 7. I feel so tierd in the morning I use to be able to get up straighten my hair do my makeup very pretty and dress good but now I just wear comfy clothes and i always have my hair up- I look like ****. How can I make my body get up without being so tierd. By the way I do get 9 hours of sleep every night.

Well, a major reason you're having trouble is that alarm schedule. Your brain needs all the REM sleep it can get, and most of that takes place after you've been sleeping for a while. If the last three hours of your sleep are interrupted by alarms that are spread out over hours, you're not waking yourself up...you're making yourself more tired. I have my alarm set to go off every ten minutes for an hour. I snooze them over and over until it finally knocks me out of sleep. That's just one interrupted hour as opposed to three or four. One other thing to consider is your brain "exercising" during the day. It has been shown that people who have to think about new things a lot (students, scientists, etc.) require more sleep to recover. Your brain isn't a muscle, but it does get fatigued from overuse. So, if this is the case for you, just try to drink some caffeine and slap yourself a couple times. Okay, maybe not slap yourself. ;o)

I have a similar problem. I feel like I wake up at a normal time feeling refreshed but then out of nowhere extreme fatigue and rem sleep completely take over. I have no control, even if an alarm is going off it's almost impossible to stop dreaming and my body and head and eyes are so heavy. I end up sleeping for an extra hour and then spend another hour recovering. I've been looking online to see if that is a specific symptom of something. Help me! I'm so frustrated lol.

According to many experts, you are sleeping too much or too long! Try getting up earlier (with an alarm, etc.) and do some stretching exercises to help you wake up. It can be as easy as reaching for the ceiling, touching your toes, putting your hands on hips and turning far left and then far right, and doing a few jumping jacks. It appears that you need to "wake up your body and mind" by getting your blood moving, which also gets your mind working more effectively. Go to bed only when you’re too sleepy to stay up, and get up at a fixed time every morning. Improve your diet. Leave out the sugary stuff especially late in the evening. Diet and sleep are connected.

the problem is probably that you set your alarm so many times. you keep waking up then going tback to slep waking up then going back to sleep. set your alarm for about 6:15 then 6:30 and when the second alarm goes off make sure to sit up. try putting your alarm clock onthe opposite side of your room so that you need to walk over to it to turn it off. then go get something for breakfast. the key is just to make sure you sit up and dont let yourself lay back down. good luck! also try taking a nap after you get home from school or work, naps seem liek something for little kids but the can really improve your day

Stop overthinking things. It's completely normal and it happens to everybody. I have a teacher in my high school that I have right now who pushes us so much that sometimes we feel like she's a college professor. But honestly, I still get the work done no matter how much I know I'm probably going to suck at it and some of it may not make sense but at least it's not late and at least it's not a 0. You have to know that colleges will not take late work, if you don't turn it in then it's an automatic 0 in the book and that's it, no second chances. Just do your best even if you don't think it's good enough because it's always better than getting a 0. 0 is not poor work because that's an understatement, that's failure, it's worse than poor wok.
