The paragraphs are all right, but you need to edit for grammar: "Great day, isn't it?" Amy smiled at her Grandpa as they were walking down the street. "If you consider frostbite great! It feels like it's below zero!" Grandpa remarked as he snuggled deeper into his jacket. "Grandpa, it's only 68 degrees outside!" giggled Amy, looking at her Grandpa. "Is that so?" chuckled Grandpa. "In that case, let's go to the park."

the grammar needs some work; it makes all the difference sometimes, proper grammar does. "Great day isn't it?" Amy smiled at her Grandpa as they were walking down the street. "If you consider frostbite great; it feels like its below zero!" remarked the old man, as he cuddled in his jacket. "Grandpa, it's only 68 degrees outside!" giggled Amy looking at her grandfather. "Is that so?" chuckled Grandpa. "In that case, lets go to the park."

Yes I think that's a very good idea to use in your essay. Another idea you may want to look at are failing battles in Russia. When Napoleon attempted to invade Russia many of his troops got sick and were injured from the cold, plus supplies ran low. The same the happened to Hitler in WWII. I don't know if you could add that to your essay, if you could i think it would make a nice addition.

You try to explain a lot of things but you dont give example maybe from the book of where and what page its from. Because all I read is you talking with no facts to prove the point. Or maybe its just me judging on high level of writing. But be warn every teacher want their student to write their way.
