Thank you for the helpful link. This is America, where everything a person in political life does is scrutinized. This is as it should be. We can thank our lucky stars we are not in China where everything in the news or on TV is censored. We need to look carefully at both candidates, and since Sarah Palin, if McCain is elected will be a heartbeat away from the Presidency, we need to look carefully at her.
The last 8 years have been very bad, seniors have to decide sometimes between getting their prescriptions refilled and eating good nutritious meals. Many times the food wins out. Gas prices are way too high, our jobs are going overseas. And as Barney Smith said at the Democrat Convention, (he worked for RCA) the factory he worked for and that his father worked for, closed, and moved the factory to China. I had uncles, who worked in the Steel Mills of Pittsburgh, now those steel mills are closed, and China makes America's steel. One of my uncles was 48, too old to get another good job, he lost his home, his children had to drop out of college. That's another thing we have to look at, 50,000 dollars a year for College or University, Many bright deserving kids are now unable to afford an education. John McCain thinks this is fair and just. Obama thinks everyone has the right to an education. John McCain has been in the Senate many years, he has had ample time for change, yet his record shows he voted with Bush 90% of the time. I was especially interested in the fact that he fought against benefits for our returning troops, when the vote for the benefits came on the floor, Senator Obama, and Senator Clinton voted for it, John McCain, simply skipped the vote. Not a good thing, I think the war is wrong, but those returning young men and woman need all the help they can get.
I think it is strange that if you show a link to a misstep McCain has made, you are accused of being for socialism. The paper is accused of being a rag. We can't afford 4 more years of Bush policy, we can't afford to allow Aerial shooting of animals, where they run the animal to collapse and then shoot it. And our real sportsman, who go out in the woods and track an animal and walk and hike for hours, and then take a shot while the animal is on the run are true sportsman, and they know aerial shooting is wrong.
So keep those links coming, the nice thing about America is you can read about both Candidates and make a choice.
