I don't think it's cliché, no one else had that same exact experience and had the same impact you had. I mean.. there are only so many things you can write about, right? We can't all find the cure for cancer. That's a fine topic.. schools want insight into you and it sounds like you gave them insight.

talk to other people to brainstorm ideas. write a stream-of-consciousness document where you just put everything you are thinking down on paper. look at it or have someone else look at it to see if you can figure out some structure, paragraphs, and a thesis statement. write your first draft. have someone read it over and edit it. read it over one final time. submit. under no circumstances should you sit at your computer and stare at it trying to figure out what to write. just write whatever comes to you. make sure to answer all parts of the prompt and have someone else check that you do. make a time table and schedule out when you want to have each part finished by and how long you think it will take you so that you don't procrastinate.

If by UC you mean UChicago, then YES THAT IS TOO CLICHE! Anyone could write that essay. What will you add to the campus? Not much, as far as they can tell from that essay. Don't you think a bunch of people have visted a german internment camp? And let's be honest---it didn't have THAT much of an effect on you. I remember Ted O'Neill saying something like he hated when kids pretend they've had these great epiphanies at 17. Get real. Write something unique. U of C essays are supposed to be special, so show them why you're different.

What are you referring to? There are a number of caveats and exceptions, but I can't know which one applies here (if any) unless I know what specifically you're talking about. If you mean allowing people to post lies about politicians, that isn't illegal first of all because the burden of proof on politicians claiming slander is huge, you have to show that the person disseminating the information knew it was false and intended for it to hurt the person, and some other requirements, plus they must show actual damage. If it's not believable, then it's not going to stand up in court. The standard is much lower if the person is not "newsworthy". To get a sense of the standard, keep in mind that although the national inquirer is sued all the time, they rarely lose (usually they settle). Further Yahoo isn't posting this information, they are permitting others to do so with credit attached to the source. The law offers some protection to Yahoo in that case, but I'm not sure on exactly the details. Slander cases have some pretty strict requirements because they can't interfere with the right to free speech.

I do have self belief this could properly be a repeated posting. First, because of the fact that whilst is it slander to declare that in the process your opinion, residing via the Bible is sweet??? offering to share one's ideals is via no skill slanderous. As for utilising Y!A as a debate communicate board, it fairly is stupid. Yahoo! solutions is a query and answer service, not a debate group. As on your remark approximately coming to our doors, circulate forward. the way I see it, if everybody at here needs to courteously make an effort to stand up, dress, circulate out and initiate knocking from door to door offering to share their ideals, they are welcome to achieve this. at last, in case you get to the southern US, you're able to be able to wind up at my door. Sounds kinda random, yet then, this is how we come across you. Asking questions concerning to here, is positive. besides the undeniable fact that, some look to not understand a query isn't basically a speech with a query mark on the top. Yahoo created Yahoo! 360 for speeches and blogs. have relaxing.
