It sounds like you have a lot of different directions, and don't know which to take. I can relate, as that's the reason I went to college. In college, I discovered some valuable spiritual teachings (I should say, at the same time as when I was in college), and by the end of college, knew that's what my passion was, and what I wanted to pursue with my life, so college worked for me, in a sense. I remember realizing at one point, when I had a bad chemistry teacher, that doing something good is not the same thing as liking what I'm doing. When you get out there and do something, you'll figure out more and more what you like, and what you don't like. Having worked a full time job, I can say that it's not for me, I need more flexibility, so I'm going into web design, which I find really fun and beautiful (I love problem solving, and it matches that with my creativity and technical skills). I can't say I'll do that forever, but I'm excited about that for now. So do something, and do it soon, and put your heart into it, and go from there, you'll feel much better. Being confused about what to do is a part of anxiety. If you do just do something, you'll feel much better. Anxiety can be overcome, too. There's a book called "The Peace of the Spirit Within" that describes the basics of how to do that. As far as giving up on life, that's a silly decision to take. Consider that giving up is a decision, would you voluntarily decide that, or would you rather take a little initiative and decide something else? If you go to the extreme, to the point of considering suicide, that's an even worse decision. It's incredibly selfish, and ignores the reality of life after death, which I've experienced and know through out of body experiences (learn more soon at weastralproject.com). Besides which, suffering passes with time.

First of all, you need to think of earning a living so you can take care of your own needs in future. You can't depend on your parents forever for finances and you do need to get on your own feet. Be practical first. Perhaps learn a trade which can be, as you say, in woodworking or photography because you like that. On the side, you can devote your free time to the writing about the subjects that interest you but you will seriously have to improve your grammar and spelling, that's a must. Lots of people hold down a fairly good paying job and have many other interests they like to do with friends or alone. Just my suggestions.

Not if it's fulfilling to you. Of course, asking someone if they want fries with their burger might not be it.
