I'm falling behind in my classes?

I'm falling behind in my classes? Topic: Get students to turn in homework
June 15, 2019 / By Elwin
Question: I am not a lazy student, actually I'm the opposite. But recently, I have become scared to turn in projects and even simple homework sheets because I don't think it's good enough. I work on things way in advance, but none of my work is good enough. I think it's better to turn it in late then have it be poor work. Sometimes I'm even scared to start it, because I know what I do won't be good enough, so why bother? I don't know what I should do. Should I tell my teachers this? Even if a teacher tells me it's good, I don't believe it. This is all stressing me out. I'm also getting lower grades then usual on tests and I'm always exhausted.

Stop overthinking things. It's completely normal and it happens to everybody. I have a teacher in my high school that I have right now who pushes us so much that sometimes we feel like she's a college professor. But honestly, I still get the work done no matter how much I know I'm probably going to suck at it and some of it may not make sense but at least it's not late and at least it's not a 0. You have to know that colleges will not take late work, if you don't turn it in then it's an automatic 0 in the book and that's it, no second chances. Just do your best even if you don't think it's good enough because it's always better than getting a 0. 0 is not poor work because that's an understatement, that's failure, it's worse than poor wok.

Turning in homework and projects that aren't "perfect" is way better than not turning them in and getting a zero. Your teachers will think you're giving them excuses. Either turn your assignments in on time or get poor grades.

It seems like you have low self esteem. You need to believe in your self. Whether you think you can or cant, you're right. If you keep doubting yourself, you are likely to fail. Put in the hard work and effort and believe you can succeed! Believeing in yourself is one of the best things you can do
