Why Don't I worry about others not even my Family? I only worry and care about Myself?

Why Don't I worry about others not even my Family? I only worry and care about Myself? Topic: How to write a care label

Question: Does this mean I have a Narcisstic Problem? I never ever care for a Romantic Partner either. Well I just never had one although I've had lots of Propositions. I just don't care much about others' well beings. Not personally at least. Sure I care for people who are homeless and children who are not loved by parents. But I just don't care for anybody personally. Like I don't get attached to people not even my own family on a personal level. Not even friends or not even men I lust for By the way, I'm 20

Well that's a good and a bad thing! You do possess the traits of a narcissistic personality disorder. However you are not negatively affecting anyone else life by this behavior, only not letting anyone get close enough to you. Are you an Aries by any chance? ha ha all jokes aside, most care about themselves more than others, and there are the few who do not but its important to put yourself first, but as some say a little and a lot are never good equations. You want to reach a nice balance. Its a good thing because no body can ever hurt you! Boyfriends, mothers, parents, colleges, bosses can do lots of damage if you come across the mean ones. But its a bad thing because sometimes letting someone in can cause wonders for your feelings and personality and allow you to blossom into a better person. I mean I guess people can label you selfish and you might be, I don't know you, but your personality is most likely attributed to how your parents and others treated you as a tot, either you were ignored most of the time or hurt by the ones that you loved, or alternatively you were just born this way! Genetics? Are your parents similar? Siblings? Another important question is do you have sadist qualities? are you always negative. If this makes you happy the way you are and it does not affect anybody else in a bad way then there is no reason to change. However if you would like to change a nice way to start is to slowly slowly begin letting in your immediate family. So perhaps the closest person you know, start to communicate with them more, not about anything personal yet, just tell them a bit about your week, then ask them to do something (this could even be your sibling or parent). It doesn't seem to me like your in a fuss to change your behavior and remember the most important thing is that your happy (well.. and that you don't affect others lives) perhaps you can try counseling if its troubling you, but as I said before, from what you have written it doesn't seem so - then again misinterpretation is very easily done via net! Its up to you about which steps you will take, you will make the right one no matter which :)

To be honest, I think you're fine. You're a fine specimen of a person and very strong in some ways. However, you have what society has labeled as "antisocial disorder." I'm not saying you are a sociopath because I'm sure you can show some empathy when you need it. Like the person before me said, this is a prevalent problem in a world where we have to look out for ourselves more and more everyday, so this type of behavior is only common. As for why you don't care, only God knows that. It is probably because you realize the triviality of such human relations which are merely creations of social norms expected of all humans to follow. You understand the stupidity of public affection which has gone to a private level. As long as you're not outwardly violent towards people and don't willingly wish to harm anyone, you are fine. Just carry on with life and find something for yourself. As for other people, you don't really have to care about them. Just care enough for them so you don't stand out too much and try to have some empathy once in a while. There is no reason to care for others' well beings on a personal level; you as a human being have enough to worry about. Good lick my friend, may God be with you.

When you're young it is probably better to be that way - until you are more set up in life. It is useful to be so single minded. Sometimes the opposite of what you describe you are is people who are needy, they do stuff for other people, then they get resentful when it doesn't 'pay off'. This can sometimes be a drain on people, and confusing for all. If you concentrate on looking after yourself then people will respect you for your independence. Very often in time you will achieve what you want to in life and then you will mellow a bit. Or maybe you are meant to be a focused person, or maybe you are very particular about when you care. Maybe you are just a cool logical person. It's a good drive to have to be self sufficient.

Ambi, first - this sounds like a very interesting way to learn and become involved with science. Basically, it brings it back to "the person" - that each has something different from the other. Outside of the basic "copyright" of one's own DNA, I for one do not see the link between teaching "how to extract" and that of "9-11-01". Am I missing something here? Maybe you could clarify what you mean and/or what the intent of the question is and the association (that you understand it to be) with the terrorist act and the association of identifying people after the event. Have a good day! Gerry
